Colour and depth for large, deep canvases

This frame combines a 50 mm depth that fully encloses canvases on 36 or 48 mm stretchers with an opaque paint finish in the colour you choose. A black or coloured ring around a deep canvas gives it a crisp outline – especially on large pieces that hang as a focal point on an open wall.

15 shades, three sheens

Choose from RAL shades in matt, satin and high gloss, or gold, silver and bronze. Matt stays calm and lets the artwork lead; high gloss catches the light and turns the frame into a design element of its own. Missing your colour? Get in touch and we will check whether we can do it.

How we paint

We use belton® free, a water-based, solvent-free paint, and seal the surface afterwards. The finish is opaque, scratch-resistant and odourless. The wide side face is painted all the way round so the frame looks uniform from an angle, too.

Choosing the size

The size is the outer diameter of the frame, 5 cm larger than your canvas – a 150 cm canvas takes the 155 cm frame. For canvases on 24 mm stretchers the same finish is available at 38 mm depth; switch above.
