The round at 24 mm

Round means no corners and no fixed orientation – ideal for motifs that work from the centre outwards. The round canvas in pine with linen is the flat version: 24 mm deep, with edges that barely show. The linen weighs 400 g/m², is triple-primed and keeps the tension even across the whole round canvas on the 24 mm pine stretcher.

Pine and linen, 24 mm: the right match?

Pine with linen gives you the fine oil fabric in the round shape at a lower price – good for oil studies and medium sizes. At 24 mm it stays understated and hangs well in groups. The pine stretcher keeps weight and price down (Ø 80 cm for €132.00) and stays straight up to around 120 cm. Typical motifs for pine at 24 mm in this shape: mandalas, flowers of life and other circular motifs.

Which size?

The 24 mm round canvas in pine with linen comes in 18 sizes from Ø 30 cm to Ø 200 cm, from €45.00. For comparison: Ø 80 cm costs €132.00 in this version. Large sizes get a centre cross from Ø 130 cm, so the tension holds. Intermediate sizes on request.

Questions about the round canvas in pine, 24 mm

Does the linen on the round canvas in pine work for acrylics too? Yes. Linen takes acrylics just as well and stays tauter than cotton – from about 150 cm it is the better choice for acrylics too, and this shape goes up to Ø 200 cm.

Why does the linen version cost more? Linen is considerably more expensive than cotton and is joined in lengths for large sizes – at Ø 80 cm this version costs €132.00.

Is pine enough up to 200 cm? Up to about 120 cm, yes. For the large sizes up to Ø 200 cm birch stays more stable; the round canvas at 24 mm is also available in birch.

Frame depth 24 mm: The classic all-rounder – lightweight, subtle on the wall and ideal for small to medium formats. Large formats come with a fixed centre cross-brace.

Round Canvas with Pine Wood Frame: Crafted in Germany

Produced in Chemnitz, Germany, these round canvases are made individually to order with care and precision. Each purchase includes a certificate of authenticity confirming the uniqueness and quality of your canvas.

Quality You Can Feel
Each canvas features a hand-crafted round pine wood frame, valued for its durability and stability. The linen fabric stretched over it is a heavy 400 g/m² weave, providing an excellent surface for your artwork.

Sustainability Meets Fine Art
Every canvas comes factory triple-primed in white, giving it a fine, even texture that is also highly durable. This surface allows excellent paint absorption and prevents flaking, ensuring your work retains its quality over time.

Precision in Every Detail
The 24 mm deep round pine wood frame prevents warping, and the linen fabric, stapled to the reverse all the way around, ensures a drum-tight tension. A routed groove on the front face prevents the linen from resting directly against the wood frame, eliminating any give when painting.

Versatility for Every Technique
Suitable for acrylic, oil, gouache, tempera, and finger paints. Available in diameters from 30 cm to 200 cm. If you require a specific size not listed, please contact us — custom dimensions are available on request.

Hand-stretched with the utmost care in Chemnitz, Germany.
