QuadraSoft Square Frame for self-stretching
A square birch frame with rounded corners, 48 mm deep, supplied without fabric. Once stretched, it becomes a bold wall object. You stretch it yourself – it arrives cleanly milled and glued, ready for cotton or linen from 20×20 cm.
Material and build
Birch multiplex makes this 48 mm QuadraSoft square frame hard and warp-free – the safe choice for linen or large sizes up to 200×200 cm. It is made for anyone who chooses their own fabric – in classes, in the studio or for custom grounds. A pocket rebate on the front keeps the fabric off the wood; at 20×20 cm the bar is about 4 cm wide, at 200×200 cm around 8 cm.

The 48 mm QuadraSoft square frame in birch comes in 19 sizes from 20×20 cm to 200×200 cm (width × height), from €65.00. For comparison: 80×80 cm costs €211.00 in this version. From 130 cm side length we add a centre cross so the frame stays true. Intermediate sizes on request.

Is 48 mm the right depth? For the QuadraSoft square frame, 48 mm gives the strongest presence and the stiffest build – ideal up to 200×200 cm. Lighter options are 24 and 36 mm in birch.
How do I fix the fabric to the QuadraSoft square frame? With a hand or air stapler on the back; at 80×80 cm the bars leave a good 5 cm for folding over, up to 8 cm in the large sizes.
