Shadow-gap frame, QuadraSoft square

Straight sides, softly rounded corners: the frame picks up the curve of your QuadraSoft canvas exactly instead of laying a hard corner over it.

For 24 mm canvases

At 38 mm deep this frame around the QuadraSoft square is built for canvases on 24 mm stretcher bars: the most common depth – the canvas sits fully inside and a slim beech lip frames the picture surface. Profile and shadow gap are identical to our round beech frames. The same finish is available at 50 mm – switch above.

Pure beech – or oiled

Milled from solid beech, glued, nailed at the back and finely sanded several times. Keep the pale surface as is, stain or glaze it yourself, or have us oil it with linseed oil for a warmer tone.

Choosing the size

The outer size is 5 cm larger than your canvas, 2.5 cm per side: a 110×110 cm canvas takes the 115×115 cm frame – €569 here. 19 sizes from 25×25 cm to 205×205 cm (width × height), from €139. Intermediate sizes on request.

Does it fit ordinary square canvases? No – it is milled to the rounded corners of QuadraSoft canvases. A sharp-cornered canvas would hit the corners.
