- Frame: Birch multiplex from European production – hard, dimensionally stable and warp-free. The safe choice for large formats, wet or heavy techniques and paintings for sale or exhibition.
- Frame depth: 48 mm – object depth: the painting has a sculptural presence on the wall, especially in large formats. Also available in 24 and 36 mm.
- Pocket-milled front so the canvas does not rest on the wood
- From 130 cm with a centre cross for lasting tension
- Back-tacked, sides pulled smooth · handmade in Chemnitz, Germany

An arched portal canvas from our workshop
Arched formats are hard to find in shops. We make them ourselves in Chemnitz – from milling the frame to stretching the canvas. This version combines a birch multiplex frame, 48 mm deep, with 400 g linen.
The frame
Birch multiplex from European production – hard, dimensionally stable and warp-free. The safe choice for large formats, wet or heavy techniques and paintings for sale or exhibition.
The fabric
100% linen, approx. 400 g/m², triple white-primed. Fine, strong fibre – the classic choice for oil painting and, in large formats, the better choice for acrylics too.
Frame depth
48 mm – object depth: the painting has a sculptural presence on the wall, especially in large formats.
Sizes
Available from 30×24 to 140×110 cm (width × height). From 130 cm we add a centre cross so the canvas stays taut. Other sizes on request.
